About us
A grooming day your dog actually enjoys.
The Bark Shack is a small, independent grooming studio tucked into Tarleton, just a short drive from Preston, Hesketh Bank and Rufford. We keep numbers low so every dog gets a one-to-one experience — no kennelling between stages, no big queues, just gentle hands and a calm room.
From wiry terriers needing a hand-strip to senior softies who'd rather take it slowly, we tailor every groom to the dog in front of us. Photos sent home as standard.

"The girls did such a lovely job on my senior pooch. Penny came out wagging her tail so happy from having a gorgeous pamper. So kind and patient & took loads of photos for me. Penny's fur is like brand new — can't believe it. Highly recommend. Amazing girls. Thanks again."
